Work Christmas Party
Saturday night I had my work christmas party. It was fun to get together with a lot of the people I work with. We played a few games, ate dinner, and exchanged gifts. It was a lot of fun. The gift I got was the movie Night at the Museum, and Matt got Cologne.
Twilight
On Friday night Matt and I took his niece to see the movie Twilight. I had been trying to get matt to go see it and everytime we say we are going to go things always come up. I have heard mixed reviews on the movie, but I really liked it. I will have to go see it again with someone who isn't talking through it. Makayla was talking the whole time about how cute Edward was.

What I'm Thankful For!!!!
My sisters posted blogs about what they are thankful for so I thought I would follow suit. Looking back on the last year I realized that the things I'm most grateful for are what helped me through the last year.
1) Matt, Without his support and strength through finding out about my Menieres Desease, and the problems associated with that, and the loss of our first baby through a tubal pregnancy I don't know where I would be.
2)My Family(Both my side and Matt's family), They have stood by my side through everything that has happened this past year. They have been there to listen when I needed a listening ear. Even though most of my family lives far away I know if they could and I needed them they would be here. Matts family was here to give me help and support as well.
3)Friends, I know I can call on them whenever I need a listening ear.
4)work, I have something to look forward to everyday, and something I like to do.
5)Church, I have a calling that will help me grow. And the knowledge of eternal families is deffinately a blessing.

Conference
Matt and I were able to go to the Sunday afternoon session of conference. We got there about 25 minutes before the session began so there weren't any seats together so we were separated, but it was still a great experience. I had been in the Conference Center before for Conference, but Matt had never been there. It was nice to be there.
newest addition to our family
My sister Jen had her baby a little over a week ago. It is so fun to see the excitement the family has for their new little brother. He was 8lbs 1oz just a little doll. I can't wait to see them at Alanna's wedding. not long now. Alanna is getting married on Oct.17th. I will now have two babies to hold and spoil (if I can get Joshua away from Thomas, Spring, Sammy, and Mary). Wish me the best at that. They love thier little brother.
Jam Making
Last week we got a good deal on Raspberries at Reams. We bought three flats of raspberries so we decided we would make jam. Originally we were going to make the jam fri., but we ended up leaving it until Sat. So while Matt was at Priesthood session I started to make the jam. We ended up making 29 pints and two quarts of jam. The majority of the jam was just plain Raspberry, then Matt went and got some strawberries from Reams so we made about nine of the 29 pints with both Raspberries and strawberries, and then the 2 quarts and one pint was made with peaches strawberries and raspberries. We decided that we were going to put aside about $50 a month to build up our food storage so this month is done.

New Church Calling
This past Sunday At about 10:45 Brother Stearmer called and asked if he could meet with us. I said sure what time? He said can you be here in 15 minutes? So we got there a little bit late, but he was in a meeting with the bishop so we had to wait for him anyway.
Well he had us go in the clerks office while the bishop met with someone else in his office. Matt was so worried that he was going to be released, but as soon as bro. Stearmer shut the door and sat down he said "Matt you're off the hook it isn't for you." That made him very happy.
He turned to me and extended the call to be the ward Emergency Preparedness Specialist. I'm excited for this new calling. I've been wanting to learn more about emergency preparedness, and now I have the opportunity to do so. I was sustained and set appart last week as well.
If anyone has any ideas for me let me know.

I can't wait to see him in person, but it probably won't happen until Alanna's wedding in Oct. I'm Also waiting for Jen to call and say she has had her little boy too, but we don't know when that will happen. We will have two little month old babies at Alanna's wedding. I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

What Color Crayon are you
You Are a Green Crayon |
![]() Your world is colored in harmonious, peaceful, natural colors. While some may associate green with money, you are one of the least materialistic people around. Comfort is important to you. You like to feel as relaxed as possible - and you try to make others feel at ease. You're very happy with who you are, and it certainly shows! Your color wheel opposite is red. Every time you feel grounded, a red person does their best to shake you. |

Pictures of new addition to our family
Bathroom remodel
New Job at work
It has been a long time since I have added to my blog. Anyway, in June I got a new position at work. I now run the Tisma full time. I really enjoy this new challenge. The Tisma is the machine that places the finished product inside the pictorial. Not only am I in charge of running the machines, but our plant is implementing a new program called TPM, and TPM is split up into I think 6 or 7 different pillars and each pillar has a team, and I am on the AM Team under the AM Pillar. The AM Pillar and Team are responsible for doing a deap clean on the machinery to find problems on the machine, and then to fix these problems. The goal is to cut down on the amount of down time we have due to the machines. Anyway, we have rolled this out on both the Caser and the Tismas on line 1. I have seen a dramatic change in the amount of down time I have on the Tismas due to the AM Process. About three weeks ago both the Caser and Tisma Teams passed the Step 1 Audit. There are 6 more Audits to go.

My Worst Fear
Earlier today I was reading an e-mail my sister Jen sent me. It was about how the legislature in CA had voted to make May 22 "Gay day" in CA schools. They will do activities and teach children about the gay life style.
I began to think about this. I think it is kind of funny how priorities change when you get married. Before I was married my worst fear was where I was going to get the money to make my next payment, or buy groceries, and stuff like that. But now I begin to wonder and worry about what my children are going to have to deal with.
I see sometime in our future the world we live in is going to be so bad that we will not want to send our children to school, but will want to teach them at home. This is my greatest fear. That I will not have the knowledge I need to be able to teach them what they need to know to be productive in society. I hope that I do, and know that if it comes down to that I will be equal to the task, but it still scares me.
