San Fransisco

On Monday we got up and drove to San Fransisco. We drove into the city over the Golden Gate Bridge, and out of the city on the Bay Bridge. We went to North Beach, and China Town. While in China town I bought myself, and grandma a Tea Set. and we bought a few other little nick nacks. our trip was very fun.We also drove down the Crookedest Street (Lombard Street) in San Fransisco.

Jelly Belly Factory

On Saturday we went to the Jelly Belly Factory on our way to Windsor. They now have a tasting panel where you can go and taste the different flavors of Jelly Bellies. We got to taste some of the wierd flavors that they have like Vomit, wood chips, black pepper, diaper wipes, and a bunch more I can't remember. We also were able to pick up a ball cap for Matt, and a spoon for me. We bought some of the belly flops, and some of the disgusting flavored Jelly Bellies too. When we were leaving we saw the Jelly Belly RV, VW Bug,and truck, and got video of them as well.

Charles Schultz Museum

On Sunday while Vicki and Chuck went to church we went with Dad to the charles schultz museum. We had a really good time seeing all of the memorabilia they had of the Peanuts funny strips. they also had large statues of the Peanuts characters. We have some video of it, but the memory card is out in the car, and I don't have shoes on yet. I would go out there in my bare feet, but it is snowing so I will put the video on when I get shoes on.

Grandma's Memorial

Friday morning Matt and I left to go to California for my Grandma's memorial. We got as far as Reno and stopped for the dinner buffet. Then as we were getting ready to leave we saw a Motel 6 and I talked Matt into getting a room there(it was about 10:00). We got up about 8:00 in the morning and finished our drive with a few stops on the way. We stopped off at the Jelly belly factory, and off at Grandpa's house before we went up to Windsor.
We stayed at some of Vickis friends house for the night, but not before we had dinner at Vicki's. It was nice to sit and visit with everyone.
The memorial was really nice on Sunday. Matt and I video taped it and will be making copies for everyone.
