We got a new member of the family on Tuesday night. I've been wanting a dog for quite a while, and so I went to the animal shelter and adopted a small dog. It is a Pikegnese. He has eyes that bug out of his head, and his face looks like he has been chasing to many parked cars, but he is cute. We named him Popeye.
Everyone in my family, but my sister and her family, from CA. is here for Thanksgiving. We sure miss them, but understand why they can't be here. We are planning to go shopping tomorrow morning bright and early.
This past summer we went to Georgia to pick up a honda civic that Matt won on Ebay for me. On the way home we drove through Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, Colorado, and a few other states. We stopped in Chattanooga, and Nashville Tennessee. It was a great trip.

We are glad you are starting a blog. It is a great way to keep in touch and keep up with what the family is up to.
I think Popeye is so cute. He is such a well behaved little dog. I'm sure you'll enjopy having him.

Today Popeye went to the Vet for the first time. They were so good with him. He had his rabies shot, and doctor check up. The doctor said that the noise he makes after exerting himself is called a reverse sneeze, and that it is normal for some little dogs to have that problem. They don't do anything for it unless they have some whezzing or coughing to go with it, because then it could be kennel cough, but Popeye doesn't. He gave him a clean bill of health.
