On March 5th we had our last meeting with CERT. It was our final and mock disaster. The mock disaster was that we had a 6.0 earthquake, small fires, and many people with injuries. We got to put into action what we had learned in all of our classes. Matt and I were put in charge of the morgue. At first we didn't have anyone to look after to we helped in the medical treatment area. We got to take care of poeple who were in shock, had lacerations, amputated fingers, glass sticking out of wounds. It was alot of fun.
On March 17th we will be presented with our certificate of completion by the mayor of springville, and our badges. We are excited for that.
